Join Sensei Cheyne on AKA’s first group tour covering training at the Honbu in Chiba Japan, then onto Okinawa.

Join us on a Traditional Karate & Kobudo adventure across Japan & Okinawa. Blending Budo with cultural exploration.

The AKA tour takes us from vibrant centre of Tokyo, training at our Honbu dojo in Chiba, through historic Kyoto and onto every Martial Artists dream destination... Okinawa.

Together, we’ll train in traditional dojos, immerse ourselves in history, and experience the sights, tastes, and spirit of Japan, together as a Dojo community.

Enjoy and experience culture and training with your Dojo community.

Create memories that will stay with you forever…

Time to jump onto and enjoy the Shinkansen to Kyoto, the cultural capital of Japan!

Temples, gardens, castles, Bamboo forests, MONKEYS. and repeat!!!!

We will try to have some free time for self exploration…. If we can find a 25th hour in the day.

KYOTO to NAHA Okinawa - 5 night

We will fly from Osaka airport to Naha, (Transfer from Kyoto station to Osaka airport included) Okinawa for 5 nights in the centre of Naha, Kokusai Dori. It’s basically where Mr Miyagi got Daniel San to break the ice… (yes that reference is a test).

We will have the opportunity to train in a private dojo practising both Kobudo and Karate. Okinawa is also home to the amazing Karate Museum at the Kaikan, where we will also be able to train together.

At the Okinawan Budokan, you never know who you will meet and be able to train with.
